Membership
SVCC is a BCU affiliated club run by its members, all of whom
are volunteers, and many of whom are BCU qualified. We are very
family oriented and have all age groups coming to our club.
We run many trips through the year from flat water open canoe
trips, often involving a pub or cafe, to 10 mile blasts down grade
3-4 white water. There is also opportunity to explore sea kayaking
during the summer months.
We welcome also non-members along to our pool sessions, and
trips where suitable experience can be demonstrated, but ask after
two attendances that membership be taken up to meet our insurance
requirements.
Our membership year runs from April - March and members are
entitled to attend all of our pool sessions and trips (where
suitably experienced) and are more than welcome to join in the
running of the club.
Current annual SVCC membership charges are:
- Adult- £17
- Child (under 18) - £14
For those who are also BCU members, there is a discount of £2 on
the above fees.
In addition are current pool session charges that are as
follows
- Member - £7
- Non-member - £9

(for members only) are as follows
